Last Sunday was one of the most beautiful days we’ve had in awhile.  So we went for a walk in a nearby park…which I’m sooo happy we did, because I never realized just how awesome it is.  I could always see that there was a little path but had no idea just how pretty.  It’s mostly hidden in trees and it winds in and out of this “mini woods” We saw tons of joggers with their dogs (which Kylie loved) and it made me really want a dog (I’ve wanted another dog for the past 3 years!).  It was just perfect, we simply walked along the path, enjoying the sights and sounds, and  would occasionally step off the path to take some pics, because the lighting was incredible (non of these pics were edited).

THIS DRESS I suppose does scream “Joi is desperate for Spring!”  haha.  And it’s true, but I’m so blessed to live in an area that doesn’t get very cold.  And I love the lace detailing on this dress, and it’s also yellow, which Daniel likes on me, and it’s a spring dress which he loves.  I mentioned that in a recent Q & A post where I asked him stuff about my wardrobe.  CLICK HERE to see that 🙂

Also, funny story.  There were ants in this one area off the dirt path where we took pictures, and afterwards I kept finding them in my heels! EEEK! And when I bent down to get them out this old guy walking by was like “you wore the wrong shoes’

Ha ha, that just made me laugh…yeah I guess wearing high heeled leopard print on a  dirt running/bike path isn’t really part of the ideal wardrobe.  But seriously, I think I’m going to start going there more often to go running…I’ve been wanting to get back into it for awhile, but our new gym doesn’t have an indoor track, and I seriously hate treadmills and the sidewalks just wear on your joints after awhile…so this is a dream come true!

Hope you’re all having a good week.

Ps. my film editing program was down for awhile, but now it’s back up and working again, so I’ll be bringing some more tutorials for y’all soon 😀
